Market Entry & Operations · Poland
International companies entering Poland need more than legal advice. They need someone who has built operations from the ground up, and knows exactly what goes wrong. That is what Bridge-PL Advisory does.
What we do
We cover the full operational build, from structure and governance to talent and culture, so nothing has to be rebuilt six months later.
How we work
Why Bridge-PL
Every framework and benchmark we bring has been tested in real organisations, not modelled in a report.
Founder
Founder & Principal Advisor, Bridge-PL Advisory
I have spent eighteen years supporting companies in building their operations, market entries, operating models, teams, and organisations, across financial services, technology, and global enterprises in Europe, the United States, and APAC.
I have set up offices from scratch, restructured teams across multiple European countries, managed hundreds of hires annually at institutional scale, and coordinated complex vendor landscapes in regulated environments. I have also managed the full lifecycle of operational programmes, including orderly exits and wind-downs, maintaining legal and governance compliance throughout.
I speak Polish natively and English fluently. Throughout my career I have worked directly with executive stakeholders across Europe, the United States, and APAC, from C-suite leadership at global financial institutions to senior directors across multi-country programmes.
Bridge-PL Advisory was founded on a simple observation: the companies that struggle in Poland are not the ones that lacked ambition. They are the ones that received generic advice from people who had never actually done it.
Poland Briefing
A practical briefing for international companies considering Poland as their next operational base. Current data, no fluff.
Poland is the largest economy in Central and Eastern Europe and the sixth largest in the European Union. In 2025, GDP grew at 3.6%, more than double the EU average of 1.6%, and investment accelerated to 8.4% in Q2 2026. For the first time in history, Poland's nominal GDP exceeded $1 trillion.
As a full EU member state since 2004, Poland offers enforceable contracts under EU law, robust IP protection, mandatory GDPR compliance, and access to the EU single market from day one of operations. The country sits in the CET/CEST time zone, providing real-time overlap with all of Western Europe and 4 to 6 hours of daily overlap with the US East Coast.
Political and regulatory stability is high by regional standards. The legal and business environment is aligned with Western European norms, which significantly reduces the compliance complexity for regulated industries.
Poland's labour market is tight by European standards. Unemployment sits at approximately 3.1%, one of the lowest rates in the EU. This is a talent-constrained market, not a volume market. Companies that succeed in hiring here move quickly, offer competitive packages, and invest in employer brand from day one.
The technology sector is exceptionally strong. Poland has over 770,000 ICT professionals, the largest tech talent pool in Central and Eastern Europe, fed by approximately 70,000 STEM and ICT graduates per year. Major global technology companies and financial institutions have established engineering and operations hubs here.
English proficiency is high among professional and technical roles, particularly in Warsaw, Kraków, and Wrocław. Polish workplace culture tends toward directness, high technical standards, and strong work ethic. Hierarchy is present but less rigid than in many Western European markets.
Poland offers meaningful cost efficiency relative to Western Europe and the United States, without compromising on the quality of talent. Senior professionals here combine strong technical and academic foundations with international experience, at a fraction of the cost of equivalent hires in London, New York, or Frankfurt. Salaries are rising consistently and budget planning should account for continued upward pressure.
Poland has a strong network of established business centres across the country, each with a distinct profile and talent ecosystem. Choosing the right location depends on your sector, talent needs, and operational footprint.
We can help you assess the right location, structure, and approach for your specific situation.
